That queue's no joke

HUNDREDS of fans were lining the east end of Princes Street yesterday as they waited eagerly to meet comedian Michael McIntyre at Waterstone's bookstore.

The comedy star was in town to sign copies of his latest book, and would have been thrilled to see more than 600 of his fans queuing up, He was also gifted a tartan scarf by one admirer during the event yesterday evening.

The TV funnyman, best-known for his Comedy Roadshow series on the BBC, was promoting his new book, Life and Laughing.
