Tesco gifts garden cash

THE refurbishment of gardens in front of Clermiston Primary School has received a boost following a donation from the new Tesco Express store on Queensferry Road.

The £500 donation was made to celebrate the store’s opening, and will help bring to life designs submitted by pupils which include lavender paths, landscaped areas and a mosaic.

Principal teacher Geraldine Forsyth said: “We had some brilliant designs and it will be great to be able to recreate them.”
