Telecoms firms face penalties over bills

Ofcom has threatened a telecoms group with penalties after 1,000 complaints from customers about bills for non-existent services.

TalkTalk and Tiscali UK, which are part of the same group, breached regulations by issuing bills for services that had been cancelled.
