Teenager won't be prosecuted for stabbing neighbour

Hertfordshire: A teenage boy who stabbed to death a neighbour who was attacking his mother will not face prosecution, police said.

James Killen, 18, was arrested on suspicion of murder after he killed 46-year-old Jonathan London as he was stabbing Sandra Crawford. She later died from her injuries.

Killen has been released without charge.

Teeside: A teenager was being questioned by police today over an attack on a soldier who had just returned from Afghanistan.

David Grout, 22, is in a critical condition after suffering head injuries.
