Teenager dies in car crash

A DRIVER thought to be in his late teens has died in a car crash.

The man was at the wheel of a silver Vauxhall Corsa when it crashed on the A95 Cornhill-Keith road in Moray.

Two passengers were uninjured in the crash, which did not involved any other vehicles, shortly before 11pm on Saturday.

Grampian Police said the men are believed to be from the Buchan area.

Inspector Ewan Innes said: "Our inquiries are at a very early stage and it is too early to speculate as to the cause of the collision.

"Our thoughts go out to the family of those involved at this time and I would appeal to anyone who may have any information relating to this collision to contact us.

"It is believed the silver Corsa may have travelled from the Cornhill area prior to the collision and I would ask anyone who may have seen it to come forward."
