Teenager charged over Aberdeen Tesco robbery

A TEENAGER has been charged in connection with an armed robbery at a Tesco store in Aberdeen.

The 17 year-old male is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court later today.

Police Scotland launched an appeal for information after the Tesco Express in the city’s King Street was robbed last Thursday by two hooded men, armed with what was described as a blunt weapon. The robbers escaped with a low figure sum of cash on bicycles.

Police Scotland can confirm that a 17 year-old man has been charged in connection with a robbery at Tesco Express, King Street, Aberdeen during the evening of Thursday 5 September. The man is expected to appear at Aberdeen Sheriff Court today.”
