Teenager assaulted by two men in city centre attack

A TEENAGER was attacked in the city centre by two men, who also smashed a shop window during the assault.

The 19-year-old victim was assaulted at around 3am in South Bridge where the window of the Shoe Zone store was broken.

The victim was not seriously injured during the incident.

The first suspect is described as white, around 20-year-old, 5ft 10in tall, medium build, and wearing a dark top and jeans.

The second man is white, around 20-years-old, 6ft 2in tall, slim build, and wearing a dark coloured cardigan with a black and white horizontal striped T-shirt underneath, and blue jeans.

A police spokesman said: "While the victim was not seriously injured, he was still shaken as a result of the assault, and we are appealing for anyone who saw what happened to contact police as soon as possible."
