Teenage farmhand dies in slurry pit

A TEENAGE farmhand has died after getting trapped when his tractor fell into a slurry pit yesterday. Jordan Orriss, 16, died after the vehicle went into the mire near Padstow, Cornwall.

Fire crews recovered the young man's body soon after they arrived at Treginegar Farm, St Merryn, at around 10:30am.
