Teen sick in court during sentence for sex attacks
The teen was physically sick as he was told he would have to serve 18 months’ detention followed by 18 months on licence.
And as the 16-year-old retched and vomited in the dock at Livingston Sheriff Court, Sheriff Peter Hammond told him that his name would remain on the sex offenders’ register for five years.

Describing the incidents as “frightening”, he said: “On two separate occasions you spotted a young female on her own on a public footpath. You followed her and sexually attacked her.
“This must have been a nightmare for any female walking alone in a public area to be accosted and attacked by a complete stranger.”
