Teen faces 7 charges for Shetland firearm incident
A TEENAGER has appeared in court in relation to an alleged firearms incident in Shetland.


Armed officers were flown to the northern isles on Tuesday following reports of a man in possession of a firearm.
Householders were told to stay in their homes while police dealt with the incident.

Hide AdSamuel Barlow, 16, appeared in private at Lerwick Sheriff Court.
He was charged with two counts of theft, three of assault, one of breach of the peace and one of malicious damage.
Mr Barlow no plea or declaration and was committed for further examination.
He is expected to reappear in court next week.
