Teen charged with murder

A TEENAGER has appeared in court charged with murdering a 16-year-old boy whose body was found in woods.

Craig Roy, 17, is accused of attacking Jack Frew in East Kilbride, South Lanarkshire.

The body of Duncanrig Secondary pupil Jack was found near a cycle path in the Mossneuk area on Thursday night.

Roy, also from the town, made no plea or declaration when he appeared at Hamilton Sheriff Court yesterday .

He was remanded in custody and was expected to appear before the court again next Monday.
