Teacher's sex act witnessed by three girls

A RETIRED Saudi Arabian teacher who was seen performing a sex act at his bedroom window by three young girls, has been fined £1000.

Adbualgasem Mohammed Hassan Basli, 64, was staying with his daughters, who were attending a college in Edinburgh, at their flat in Stenhouse Road when the incident occurred at 9pm on the evening of July 26 this year.

Basli, who pleaded guilty at Edinburgh Sheriff Court yesterday to a charge of breach of the peace, had only been in Scotland for a week.

Fiscal Depute Aidan Higgins, said that Basli was standing at the window of his bedroom on the ground floor of the block of flats with his trousers down.

He was seem by three girls, aged 11, 13 and 14, who were leaning out of the first-floor window of a flat opposite, talking to someone on the ground.

The Fiscal said that if the girls had not been been leaning out they would not have seen anything.
