Teachers meet to study e-learning impact

THE popularity of e-learning amongst school pupils in Scotland will be the focus of a conference for more than 200 secondary school teachers at Heriot-Watt University.

The annual Scholar conference will address the increasing role that educational technology plays in and out of the classroom and will reveal the findings of an independent review into the impact e-learning has on school exam results in Scotland.

The Technology for Learning conference on June 17 will also hear that the unique Scholar website, which is available for Higher and Advanced Higher pupils, is on target to reach 10 million hits this year.
