Tax workers vote for strike

HUNDREDS of tax workers have voted in favour of strike action.

Staff at processing centres in Grayfield House and Saughton House, west Edinburgh, and Pentland House, Livingston, are in dispute over the introduction of a method of working.

Leaders of the Public and Commercial Services union claim it has led to a culture of corporate bullying, with workers under pressure to meet targets. They say they will stage a one-day strike if further negotiations fail to resolve the situation.
