Tasty design wanted for logo contest

LOTHIAN students with an eye for design have been reminded to get their entries in for the National Food and Drink Conference logo competition.

With the closing date of February 10 fast approaching, students from schools, colleges and universities across Scotland are being encouraged to submit logo designs. Entrants will be in with a chance of their logo appearing on shopping bags and promotional material for the March conference.

The winning student will receive £300, with a prize of £100 each for two runners-up.

Rural Affairs Secretary Richard Lochhead said: “I would urge students from the Lothians to submit their entries for the logo competition and take the opportunity to get involved in this initiative which directly links food and learning.
