Taste is put to the test

Midlothian’s first food and drink competition is being held this spring.

It follows the launch of the Midlothian Food and Drink Directory and the county’s food and drink brand last year.

The competition aims to recognise the quality food and drink and hospitality available.

To vote, visit www.midlothianfood-drink.com or look out for voting slips in cafes, restaurants and pubs.

The winners will be announced on May 31.
