Tamara just misses out on dance final

TAMARA Robertson, the city youngster dubbed a "mini Lady Gaga" at the age of ten, narrowly missed out on a place in the final of Sky1's Got To Dance last night.

The budding dancer, from Musselburgh, was one of 28 acts selected from around 2300 applicants after impressing Pussycat Doll Kimberly Wyatt and fellow judges, Adam Garcia and Diversity star Ashley Banjo, with her twinkle toes.

Tamara was beaten by young dancers Razzle Dazzle from Belfast and street dance group Trinity Warriors from Derby.

However, despite not going through, her mother Mairi, 40, today told the Evening News that Tamara was thrilled with the judges'. She said: "Tamara was just delighted with the comments from the judges and was thrilled to get three stars.

"She was delighted just to take part and is already looking forward to getting on with her dancing."
