Talks down to a fine art

RESIDENTS in Uphall and Broxburn are to be given their say on proposals to build a public art project.

The Uphall and Broxburn town centre management group has been working with an artist to design a work that reflects the culture and aspirations of the towns' residents.

Locals are being urged to come along to meet the artist, Mike Johnson, at community consultation sessions on August 16 in the Strathbrock Partnership Centre foyer from 9am to noon, and at Oatridge Hotel in Uphall from 1-4pm.
