Talks bid to avoid airline action

Fresh talks are to be held in a bid to avert industrial action by pilots employed by Virgin Atlantic.

The British Airline Pilots' Association said a meeting with management will be held next Monday to try to resolve a row over hours. Balpa said the dispute was over the way the company was interpreting an agreement on the minimum number of rostered days off.
