Takeaway is on the menu

AN empty shop on the Pleasance is set to be turned into a hot food takeaway.

The city council, which owns the shop at 65 Pleasance, has agreed to grant a ten-year lease to BBL.ME Ltd, which wants to open a takeaway.

The lease was marketed and five offers were received, with the highest bid coming from BBL.ME.

Council officials are proposing that a ten-year lease is granted to the company at a rent of 8050 a year plus VAT.
