Taiwan: General mobilised forces for wedding

A TAIWANESE air force general has apologised for mobilising dozens of officers to host a lavish wedding for his son, including a major general who acted as the head receptionist.

General Lei Yu-chi spent four months rehearsing wedding procedures. The defence ministry said yesterday it would rule on whether he violated the military conduct code.
