T in the Park named Festival of the Year

T IN the Park has been named Festival of the year in the Music Week Awards, beating off competition from the likes of Glastonbury and Bestival.

Geoff Ellis, a founding partner of the Kinross-shire event, said: "It's great to be recognised by the music industry. We're now looking forward to this year's festival more than ever."
