T in the Park drug charge

A MAN has been charged over an alleged bid to take over £5000 worth of drugs into the T in the Park music festival.

Robert Stewart Glasgow, 24, is suspected of planning to take substances to the event. Police said they seized drugs during investigations on Friday in Craigmillar.

Mr Glasgow was charged with being concerned in the supply of controlled drugs.

He made no plea or declaration and was released on bail.
