Swimming pool roof repairs 'will be completed by June'

REPAIRS to the roof of a popular Capital pool will be completed by mid-June, city leaders have confirmed.

Warrender Swim Centre, on Thirlestane Road, has been closed since November, when a panel of glass fell from the roof and left a swimmer with an injured arm.

Council chiefs opted to replace the whole roof and initially said that the work would be completed by March.
