Suspected Basque terrorist arrested

POLICE in London yesterday arrested a man wanted for alleged terrorist offences in Spain.

Officers from Scotland Yard's extradition unit detained Garikoitz Murua, 29, in Soho. Murua, a suspected member of Basque separatist group Eta, was wanted under a European Arrest Warrant. He is accused of street violence in the Basque region.
