Support right down to a tea

SUPPORT was brewing for Marie Curie Cancer Care after a special MSPs' event at the Scottish Parliament this week.

The charity hosted the Blooming Great Tea Party to celebrate the thousands of smaller tea parties that are held every year to raise funds for end of life care.

Marie Curie, which employs 2,700 doctors, nurses and carers, provides support to people who want to spend their final days in their own homes.

Stewart Marks, head of policy for Marie Curie Cancer Care in Scotland, said: "The continued support from MSPs is invaluable to us."
