On the final day of the election campaign, she delivered an eve of poll message to a crowd of around 300 people at The Mound.
She told the placard-waving supporters: “We take nothing for granted - not a single vote or a single seat.
“When we ask people across this country to give us their vote we ask them for something very precious and it is our duty to work as hard as we possibly can to prove to them that when they put their trust in us we will not let them down.
“The more seats the SNP wins tomorrow the more power Scotland is going to have. That is the prize that is within our grasp.
“We are now within touching distance of doing something we have never done in our history - we are within touching distance of winning a Westminster election.
“Tomorrow is an opportunity for us to come together and unite as one country and vote SNP to make our voice heard.”
Ms Sturgeon signed autographs and posed for selfies before leaving by limousine.
