Students take lead in global events talks

A GROUP of students from Queen Margaret University have travelled to Las Vegas to learn about international events and help lead a discussion of what "generation X" expect from the global events industry.

The four event management students are taking part in the Professional Convention Management Association conference until Wednesday.

The visit was instigated by Professor Joe Goldblatt, a world renowned events expert from Dallas, Texas, who is now executive director at the university's International Centre for the Study of Planned Events.
