Students protest against Israeli occupation

Students have staged a silent protest outside the Main Library at Edinburgh University to highlight the effects of the Israeli occupation on Palestinian students as part of Edinburgh University Student Association's Right to Education Week.

Similar protests were taking place simultaneously in universities across Scotland yesterday.

Edinburgh University Students' Association is twinned with Birzeit University Student Union in the West Bank, where the Right to Education campaign is based.
