Student wins jewel of prize

Jewellery designer Sheila Fleet is visiting the Capital today to meet the winner of a national competition.

The Made in Scotland prize draw was won by student Tim Curry, who scooped an all expenses paid trip to Orkney, where Ms Fleet has her workshops.

She said: "We're saying 'Come and discover where the jewellery is made, have a taste of Orkney, all the food and drink, and see something that's maybe quite different from the rest of Scotland.'"

Mr Curry will be presented with his prize at the Sheila Fleet shop in St Stephen Street, Stockbridge. Other prize winners will receive hampers of Orcadian food and drink.
