Student proves his editing is a cut above

A STUDENT from Edinburgh has been honoured at the BAFTA headquarters in London for producing a short film.

Matt Williams, 23, from Blackhall, will graduate from the BA (Hons) Film and Television course at the University of the Arts London next month.

He took the editor's role in the team which won Best Picture Award for the film Friedrich - a short documentary about the life and work of artist Friedrich Nagler.
