Student musicians head to Mauritius

Two students from Edinburgh have been chosen to represent Britain's young musical talent in events taking place in Mauritius this month.

Andrew Robb, 20, and Daniel Paterson, 23, who play the double bass and violin, will help celebrate the 200th anniversay of the naval battle which saw the Indian Ocean island switch from French to British rule.

The pair will join 26 other musicians in Camerata Scotland, the pre-professional chamber ensemble of The National Youth Orchestras of Scotland.
