Striker Leigh Griffiths’ thumbs-up for tot

HIBS striker Leigh Griffiths paid tribute to the news of his fourth child by celebrating his winning goal with a thumb-sucking gesture.

The 22-year-old struck the wacky pose after netting the winner for the Easter Road side in their recent 1-0 victory against Celtic.

Girlfriend Linzi McCartney, 21, who is pregnant with her second child by the footballer, posted the snap on Twitter.

She added: “Aww thumb in the mouth celebration for bump Haha.”

Griffiths’ goal salute comes after he whipped out a dummy to celebrate a late winner against Aberdeen in the Scottish Cup semi-final last season – celebrating the birth of his oldest children.
