Street attack puts pair in hospital

A TEENAGER and a young man needed hospital treatment after they were attacked in Hamilton yesterday.

The victims, aged 19 and 23, were walking on Shawburn Street when two or three men assaulted them. They were treated for head injuries at Hairmyres Hospital in East Kilbride and released. Police are investigating the incident as serious assault.
