Stolen tractor found in field

A VINTAGE tractor stolen by thieves during a bizarre late-night raid which saw them crash through a series of fences and gates to make their getaway has been recovered.

The 40-year-old Ford 3000 tractor was stolen from Houston Farm Riding School in Uphall, West Lothian on November 28.

The vehicle was recovered on Sunday afternoon in a field near Loaninghill Road, Uphall.

A police spokesman said: “Investigations are ongoing to establish the circumstances, and officers are following a positive line of inquiry.”
