Stolen bolt gun found at farm

POLICE have recovered a bolt gun stolen from an abattoir in the Lothians.

It was taken from Vion Hall Foods in Broxburn last month and was recovered on January 12 at a Lanarkshire farm.

A police spokesman said: “Inquiries are still ongoing into the theft of this bolt gun, and we would once again appeal for anyone with any information to get in touch.”
