Step out for Marie Curie

A SPECTACULAR 10km walk is to take place in the Lothians to raise money for a cancer charity.

Mare Curie Cancer Care, which runs one of the area's two hospices, is seeking participants and donors for the event on August 27.

It is part of the organisation's Walk Ten programme, which will see 20 similar challenges take place across the UK.

This one will involve walkers gathering at Athelstaneford in East Lothian, following a circular route round the area boasting views of the Hopetoun Monument and Bass Rock.
