Step out for charity run

A NEW charity run to raise money for disadvantaged children is set to take place in the Capital in March.

Organised by Barnardo's Scotland, the Big 5km fun run will go ahead for the first time on March 27 in Inverleith Park.

Karisma Fletcher, event organiser, said: "This new event will be really enjoyable and there will be a great atmosphere on the day. Entry is 10 per person for the 5km and we are encouraging people to set a fundraising target of 100."
