Stars turn out for Polo Day

STARS from stage and screen mingled with royalty yesterday at one of the summer's most prestigious events.

Prince Charles oversaw the annual Cartier International Polo Day match at Windsor Great Park in Berkshire, while the Queen enjoyed her summer holiday in Scotland.

A crowd of some 25,000 people turned out, including actors Sir Ben Kingsley and Tommy Lee Jones, former Spice Girl Geri Halliwell presenter Cat Deeley and singer Katherine Jenkins.

The highlight of the day was the Coronation Cup clash between New Zealand and England, won 9-7 by the home side.
