Stars sniff out charity help

EDINBURGH's Comic Relief champions Greg McHugh and Carol Smillie posed on Castle Street yesterday for the launch of the Capital's Red Nose Day fundraising countdown.

The duo will help promote the Red Nose Day Community Cash grant scheme, which aims to provide funding between 500 and 1000 to needy community groups.

Once again, Comic Relief is encouraging Scots to don a Red Nose and do something funny for money. Last year, Scotland raised 3.4 million and since then Comic Relief has funded over 53 projects across the country.
