Cheryl Cole, David Beckham, Robbie Williams and JLS all performed during last night's TV marathon.

X Factor judge Cole, below – making her first TV appearance since her split with husband Ashley – was forced to watch comic Rufus Hound do a spoof of her Fight For This Love dance routine.

Viewers also saw injured footballer Beckham share a bath and a bed with Gavin And Stacey star James Corden.

Around 60,000 was also raised by viewers of The One Show who wanted to see Adrian Chiles' beard shaved off.

His co-presenter Christine Bleakley, who water-skied across the English Channel to raise money, smothered his face in cream before using clippers to remove his beard.

Elsewhere, Dragons' Den entrepreneurs Peter Jones and Duncan Bannatyne also went head-to-head in a special Strictly Come Dancing.

Jones triumphed with a tango after Bannatyne's cha cha cha was described by dance judge Bruno Tonioli as one of the worst he had ever seen.
