Star chef tips on the menu

THE first British chef of a triple Michelin-starred restaurant will host a culinary demonstration at a brand new evening event at the Edinburgh New Town Cookery School.

Guest chef Steven Doherty, of Le Gavroche fame, will spearhead the first in a series of dining events from September 21.

Mr Doherty will share his expertise with a group of 25 students, offering secrets and tips from his own autumn kitchen. Tickets are priced at 55 and guests will enjoy a glass of wine and tasters on arrival.
