Standing tall in challenge

RESIDENTS are being urged to take advantage of the early bird offer for the Barnardo's Cairngorm Challenge.

Barnardo's is inviting teams of four to take part in the challenge up Scotland's sixth highest mountain and through Cairngorms National Park.

Now in its fifth year, the challenge will take place on September 10.

Teams must register before April 30 to receive the special discounted rate of 50 per person.

Barnardo's supporter, Daley Thompson, said: "The Cairngorm Challenge is a great experience in spectacular scenery."
