Stand-up takes lie down at show for Comic Relief

A CITY comedian is to take part in the UK's first ever "lie-down" comedy gig in aid of Comic Relief.

Edinburgh-born Iain Stirling, 23, joins comedians Russell Kane, Alun Cochrane, Isy Suttie and Chris Ramsey in the unique show which will see them perform comedy sets from beds.

The gig takes place at the Leicester Square Theatre in London on February 28.

It is part of a new fundraising campaign called Do It In Your Sleep, which asks the nation to raise money by wearing limited edition red nasal strips whilst sleeping.

Iain said: "I'm really excited to be involved. Who wouldn't want to wear their slippers in public, hop under the covers and perform a set to help raise money for such a good cause?"
