Stage is set for auditions

BUDDING actors in East Lothian are invited to audition for the Brunton Theatre's festive production of Aladdin.

No prior acting experience or training is necessary but applicants must be aged from seven to 15 and be resident in East Lothian from August 2011. Aladdin, written and directed by Evening News arts and entertainment editor Liam Rudden, will run from November 29 to January 7, 2012.

Auditions will be held on Friday, July 1, from 1.30pm at Brunton Hall. Applicants must register by 4pm on the previous day.
