Staff walk out on architects

EDINBURGH-based architectural firm RMJM has been hit with mass resignations at one of its principle offices and the reported threat of industrial action over unpaid wages in the UK.

Senior staff at the Hong Kong branch reportedly jumped ship to a rival company after executives from head office were called in to take control of the division, amid allegations of unpaid wages and financial mismanagement.

It has also emerged a number of employees at the company's UK offices - including its Edinburgh HQ - reportedly failed to receive their wages on time for the second month in a row.

This news comes amid unconfirmed reports that staff at RMJM's London office are reportedly considering strike action early next week.
