Stabbing victim lucky to be alive
A man has been described as "lucky to be alive" after he was repeatedly stabbed following a trip to a takeaway.
The 26 year-old was attacked by three men after he left his house in the east end of Glasgow on Saturday night
Last night he was described as "serious but stable" in Glasgow Royal Infirmary.

Hide AdDetective Constable Dawn Bethune of Strathclyde Police said: "The victim left his home around 10.30pm to go to a shop on the Gallowgate when three men ran across the road and attacked him. Only one of the suspects actually carried out the assault; the other two prevented the victim from escaping."
