Stabbing treated as attempted murder

POLICE are treating the stabbing of a 24-year-old man in Glasgow as attempted murder.

The man was found with serious injuries in the communal area of a building in Wyndford Road, Maryhill, at about 8:40pm on Saturday.

His condition is described as stable in the Western Infirmary.
