Square gets into shape

work has started to redevelop a public square in Leith after concerns about antisocial behaviour from residents.

The project to refurbish Boundary Square, off Buchanan Street, is being run by the Port of Leith Housing Association (PoLHA), in conjunction with the city council, and is expected to take up to four months.

The aim is to make the square a brighter and lighter space for the community to enjoy.

Keith Anderson, chief executive of the PoLHA, said: "Boundary Square has a great potential to become a more attractive and useable space."
