Spotlight on animations

Edinburgh is currently hosting a celebration of Japanese Animation at the first Scotland Loves Anime Festival.

The festival, at The Filmhouse this weekend, features several UK, Scottish and European premieres.

The Festival is hosted by Jonathan Clements - author of Schoolgirl Milky Crisis, Adventures in the Anime and Manga Trade and co author of the Anime Encyclopedia.

Also on display is The Art of Akira Exhibition, which features original artwork from the groundbreaking anime classic Akira.
